This Unit is designed to enable candidates to develop their knowledge and understanding of the underlying concepts, principles and standards that are applied when preparing limited company financial statements for publication.

For a limited company, candidates will prepare financial statements for publication, Consolidated Statements of Financial Position for groups of companies, and analyse financial statements by means of ratio analysis.
